Hanging in There

Sorry that I haven't posted in awhile. I have been really depressed this time around. Still haven't found a job and that has taken it toll on me. I had to more less had to fight with unemployment to get my claim processed. I went 12 weeks without check because they weren't processing claims.  The only way that I could get way from everything was to stitch.  I have been keeping up with the Lizzie Kate progress. I am looking more and more to move to North Carolina as soon as I get a job offer I am there. I have had some people asking me to make them some greeting card. If anyone knows anyone that are will to make cards let me know. I am looking to puchase birthday, etc cards that for the fronts are blank so I can add a cross stitch piece on the front.

Not much Luck yet

I haven't had much luck on the job front yet. The company that I worked for set us up with a career cosuitants but I have heard back from them since I send them my resume. Next week I am going to start really looking at NC. I am looking outside of Charlotte I don't want a large city, so if anyone knows of a good place in that area or a job let me know and I will look at them. I did a craft show last weekend and it wasn't good the only item that I sold was to the person that I gave a ticket for the presale show. I haven't had much luck at craft shows yet I don't know why not. I haven't had much luck on facebook either. Now on to the stitching front I finsihed my wedding gift for my cousin wedding this summer. I have also added to my Lizzie Kate changelle. I am working on LK Joy and then I am going to try get one of the many WIP that my grandmother has given my from her chruch she told me that they have more for me whenever I am ready. They take all types of craft items for the commuity and then they finish and sell them at a craft show and the money go to minsteries but they don't have anyone that cross stitches so they give me the items to finish for them. I haven't done any lately so I need to get something done. Here are some picture of the items that I have finshed in the last week or so. Sorry that I haven't posted in a while alot of things have happened. The only thing that I have been doing is stitching trying to keep my spirts up. I was laid off for the second time since 09. The first time it took me almost 2 years to find a job. Financial and emotily I can't take that this time. I guess this is my chance to move to NC. So if anyone know of any jobs outside of Charlotte let me know. I have been stitching and do other crafts alot. I am doing a craft show in the next weeks so I have been working on getting items done. I have also updated the Lizzie Kate progress I am going to start #1 Mom and #1 Dad are the next two that I will be working on after I get the bookmark that I am stitching today. Here is what I have been working on. After the craft show if any of these are still available they will be put up for sale on my facebook page.

starting a new challenge

I am starting a new challenge. But I am going to need help. I want to stitch as many Lizze Kate's snippet or flip it that I can this year. I will also mix in some other item. If anyone has any that they want to trade or sell please let me know. I have already done 2. (Be mine Valentine, Love is..)I have 15 lined up I am still looking for more.

Busy day!!

My day started out bad!! I looked out my kitchen window to see if someone had cleaned my driveway or not all I saw was footprints. I open the door and someone had stolen my shovel. I knew the drifts we to deep to drive thou I called my neighbor to see if I could use her shovel. I finally got everything cleaned out. The next thing that we wrong is my cat got scared of something and knocked over 2 plants sitting by the window. Today was to be a day to stay in and stitch and work on other craft items. After all of that I finally could sit down and work. I finished the pieces that post before and another into ornaments and put them up on my facebook page. I have also done on that I can't show yet I am going to put into the ILCS valentine Compensation. I also made a hair band for someone but I am thinking of selling them also. Would you purchase it? I sold one for $3.25 is that a good price? I am making chili for dinner and then I am stitching for the rest of the night. I need to get started on my cousin wedding gift. It is call Love Always

First ornament of the year

My first ornament for the SAL I am also going to try to get a bookmark done each month it depends on how fast I can the wedding gift that I need to have done by the end of June if not before so I can get it framed for a wedding in July. And of course I haven't started it yet. I have the pattern it is call Love Always I have the fabric but I am still debating before 2 colors so hopfully I will get help Sunday and can start this week. I am also working on making scraves. All the ornaments, bookmarks and scraves that I make are for sell on my facebook page Crosstitched with love.

I have finished stithing 3 more bookmarks now i just need to make them into bookmarks. I have also tried to start making scarves without crochet becasue I haven't firgured out how yet. It still needs some work. I have been working on my first ornament for the SAL. I am making a valentine one. but it seems that I am doing more frogging then stitching on it.

Getting Started

This is was one of my new year's resolutions was to start a page on my crafts. I love to cross stitch and would like to start some other crafts. One of my resolution is to move to a new place I am looking to move North Carlonia I hope within this year. I am taking part in the ornament SAL. I have also started a new facebook page where I am selling my ornaments, bookmarks, stash and other crafts that I may thou out the year. The page Crosstitched with Love also. Hopefully you will come and see what I have. Hopefully I will finish a bookmark this weekend and start working on my cousin's wedding gift.
